Kessben 93.3fm is a subsidiary of the Kessben Group of Companies in Kumasi, Ghana. Kessben 93.3fm started test transmission in its premises strategically located in the heart of Kumasi in October 2004 and went commercial in November 2004. The ‘raison d’etre’ of Kessben 93:3fm is to provide the radio broadcast style and culture based on the orientation of the particular listening public and to help address issues pertaining to that public. Kessben 93.3fm targets the ordinary rural illiterate through the literate-semi-adult to the sophisticated literate adult executive in and around Kumasi. Aware of the complexity of the niche to be created, Kessben 93.3fm has researched into and instituted programmes and activities that attract these audience.
